This is my first official post on the Music To Pray By blog. I still have quite a bit of work to do on this site. I only purchased the domain names (.org, .net, and .info as well) a couple of days ago. Starting this blog has been an objective of mine now for over 2 years. I’m truly glad I’ve taken the plunge! I hope to post my first true music blog on Saturday. There is quite a bit happening so I’m not sure if I’ll get to it or not. I have a gig with Soundwave that afternoon in Driftwood, and my brother, David, is bringing us a puppy in the morning. Keep a look out though – if it doesn’t happen this Saturday, it will happen soon!

Great start to your new site. This is going to be a great resource for people who want to deepen their connection with God. Something happens when you play those ivories that touches people’s hearts, including mine.

For those who are not religious or Godly, this is good music period. The songs I have heard so far are pretty good for just listening to regardless of your belief system as this band is just plain good and the fact that they are offering up music for free is a boon to anyone regardless of religious affiliation. If you live in Austin you might get lucky enough to catch them on the live music circuit. They sound even better live with a good meal on a cool Austin night.

I just wanted to make a comment as a reminder to self what inspired me to get going with this blog, which has been life changing for me up to this point (only 4 weeks into it). It was at the Worship Leaders Conference in Austin, TX when Cole and Micah pressured me into purchasing the musictoprayby domain. I will see that day as a turning point in my life.
